Consultant Psychiatrist Crisis Resolution Intensive Support Service (CRISS)

Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a passionate and committed Consultant Psychiatrist to work within our Crisis Resolution Intensive Support Service (CRISS). This post offers a chance to make a real difference in the lives of working-age adults experiencing acute mental health challenges.
About The Role
The post holder will work alongside three Consultant Psychiatrists as part of the CRISS Team. They will be based at the West CRISS locality at St Marys Hospital, Armley, Leeds, with the flexibility to provide Consultant cover to other localities when required.
CRISS became operational in March 2019 and was further enhanced by a significant redesign project, with the new model launching in November 2024. This innovative service adheres to the Core Fidelity Standards for Crisis Resolution services, developed by University College London and the Royal College of Psychiatrists. CRISS provides rapid assessment and intensive support for adults with acute mental health issues, emphasising recovery-focused holistic care.

This is a 10 PA post plus a 1% category B availability for out of hours on-call duties.
