Programme Manager
Location: Coventry
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 DOE
The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting exclusively for a strong Programme Manager within the Automotive Sector.
The Programme Manager will have extensive automotive experience and be responsible for the management of the full vehicle projects lifecycle within the group, including timing, delivery, and cost.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company.
2. Oversee the delivery of full vehicle projects supported by a multi-disciplined Engineering team, including Cost, Quality, Timing, Delivery, Resources & Profitability.
3. Lead & mentor a team of project engineers to ensure delivery of projects within their control.
4. Support Marketing/Sales to explore new opportunities and construct budgets for aftermarket products.
5. Ensure all projects have Purchase Order coverage for the correct value as per the DRVN budget and negotiations.
6. Manage, monitor, and control the timing and delivery of each project according to quoted deliverables and gateway requirements.
7. Liaise with core engineering management to set expectations, review objectives, and ensure appropriate deployment of project resources.
8. Report weekly and at monthly governance reviews on the project team's performance in management meetings.
9. Demonstrate leadership within project teams through strong communication and governance.
10. Interface with associated DRVN customers, ensuring that project requirements are clearly understood and delivered as per the agreed budgets.
11. Provide daily motivation and a positive outlook for the team.
12. Ensure the team upholds DRVN's quality accreditation and other specific DRVN systems.
13. Uphold the core values of DRVN.
Measurements:
1. Project Delivery timing.
2. Project Delivery Cost Vs. Budget - Profitability.
3. DRVN NPI and metrics (project gateway, issues management, DVP completion, CAD completion, Release management, etc.).
4. Customer satisfaction.
5. Team satisfaction.
6. Business development and team growth.
7. Team efficiency - actual hours vs. invoiced hours.
Essential Skills:
1. Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
2. Relevant and proven experience of successfully delivering a full vehicle programme through to launch, in the role of a Project/Programme Manager within a fast-paced, forward-thinking automotive company or similar environment.
3. Significant Project Management experience and familiarity with Project Management systems.
4. Ability to interface with senior stakeholders, customers, and suppliers on both operational and statistical levels.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Flexible attitude and ability to manage time and prioritise workload accordingly.
7. Full driving licence as travel will be required as part of the role.
8. Confident approach to team interaction.
9. Show leadership and directional skills within own subject area.
10. Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/provided.
