Our client is seeking an Business Support Administrator within the educational sector. This role is and immediate start on a temporary basis until December 2024 but the right candidate could look to be taken on permanently dependant on the situation the client is in. They are seeking the candidate to understand and have knowledge on their Management Information Systems (MIS), This is an on-site role with no remote work available.
The main responsibilities for this role are:
– Create and deliver administration procedures to support the Head of Departments.
– Report on absences.
– Support and engage in pre-enrolment.
– Support full-time and part-time enrolment as required.
– Help set up curriculum's on the MIS.
– Ensure that their systems and procedures are always up to date.
– Get involved with promotional events (these may include evening attendance).
– Checking attendance and registers are completed and ensure they are logged manually and electronically.
– Produce timetables and be able to make changes for them.
– File, order and organise the storage of all departments resources.
– Provide reports to the Head of Departments on income, funding and staffing on the MIS Systems ( & EBS).
– Process tuition pay claims using register information.
– Undertake clerical and administration duties.
– Create Purchase Orders and track them with the finance team.
Additional responsibilities may include:
– Take part in staff development as part of the Staff Development Programme.
– Ensure that Health and Safety procedures are compliant and safe practices are observed by you and others.
– May have to act as a Mentor/Appraiser in the schemes.
– May be required to take place in First Aid Training (appropriate training and release of normal duties will be provided).
– May need to work 1 evening duty if required.
The hours are Monday – Thursday 08:30am – 17:00pm, with one Friday every month in accordance to their 4-day working week.
The salary is dependant on experience and will be discussed at interview stage.
