The Opportunity:
A leading manufacturer of construction materials is investing in new sales channels and requires an experienced commercial sales professional to drive demand and market share. This is a highly strategic role, offering the chance to take full ownership of a product group, define the route-to-market strategy, and play a pivotal role in expanding national sales.
The Role:
This is not just another sales job. It's a strategic commercial role, where you will be responsible for creating market demand by working directly with contractors, architects, and distributors. You'll develop CPD presentations, engage with key industry players, and carefully build direct-to-market channels alongside a strong distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a national sales and commercial strategy for a key range of building materials.
Engage directly with contractors to grow product adoption.
Create and deliver CPD presentations to architects to influence project specifications.
Expand distribution networks while also identifying direct-to-market opportunities .
Support the commercialisation of additional specialist products in related sectors.
Who We're Looking For:
Experience in construction product sales, commercial management, or specification selling .
Ability to define and execute a go-to-market strategy and drive product sales.
Strong presentation skills, capable of delivering CPD seminars and influencing decision-makers.
Knowledge of contractor sales and the distribution model for construction products.
A driven, entrepreneurial professional who wants to take ownership of a growing product category .
