Are you ready to launch a rewarding finance career? The Leigh Institute is hiring a Finance Administrator Apprentice, offering hands-on experience and the chance to earn a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. You’ll join a supportive team that values growth and collaboration, working on invoice processing, payments, and queries.
Our successful candidate will become part of a friendly team that supports the four founding organisations within the finance remit, contributing to effective financial management across our academies. Applicants should be professional, personable and committed to providing an excellent service on behalf of Leigh Academies Trust and above all else our appointed candidate will have a positive work ethic and can-do attitude. Applicants should also be confident in many aspects of IT, and will be expected to utilise the Google Suite of tools for many aspects of their work.
This role is offered as an 18-month apprenticeship contract and our successful candidate will work towards a nationally-recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification, delivered by LAT Apprenticeships.
Annual wage: £13,725 per annum
Holiday allowance: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays
Working week: Monday - Thursday, 8.00am – 4.00pm / Friday, 8.00am - 3.30pm
Total hours per week: 37 (including the 20% training element of the Apprenticeship)
Apprenticeship duration: Approx.18 months
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
Apprenticeship level: Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3)
Apprenticeship standard: Business & Administration

Desired entry qualifications: GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths, English and ICT
Future prospects: This apprenticeship could be the start of a very promising career within the wider business and administration remit. We endeavour to offer further employment following successful performance and completion of the Level 3 course with future opportunities to extend your training with a higher level apprenticeship programme.
