The Best Connection are recruiting for a permanent Business Development Co-ordinator for our prestigious client based in Darlington.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Talking to Existing, Lapsed, Onboarding New Customers and Target New Market Prospective Customers to make them aware of the Product and Service Offers also New Products and Promotions. This is a business development role which will be a key contributor to driving and delivering FPE Seals next phase of growth.
The company distributes and manufactures sealing products including hydraulic seals, mechanical seals, pneumatic seals, hygienic seals, oil seals, O rings, gaskets, seal kits, cylinder parts, and associated products to Aftermarket and Industrial OEM customers and Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations.
The company has operations in Darlington, Aberdeen, and Breda (Netherlands).
1) REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This role will report into the Sales & Marketing Manager as part of a wider Sales & Marketing Team.
2) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Outbound telephone communication with customers. You'll play a key role in developing positive customer relationships, driving brand product and services awareness, loyalty and sales whilst gathering valuable customer insights, and supporting the achievement of our sales and growth goals.
3) JOB DIMENSIONS / SCOPE
This role will be UK & Ireland market focused, where you will be allocated target customer accounts to grow and develop. This role will be incentivised in the form of commission payments on delivering sales growth which will be calculated and paid as earned on a quarterly basis (uncapped).
Profile of target Customers will include Existing, Lapsed, Onboarding New Customers and Target New Market Prospective Customers.
4) KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1. Experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
2. Excellent verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
4. Familiarity with CRM tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with customers.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Results-driven with a focus on exceeding targets.
5) RELATING TO PEOPLE INTERNALLY
This role will work very closely with Sales, Marketing and Product Management teams and wider FPE Teams.
6) RELATING TO PEOPLE EXTERNALLY
Key interactions outside of the client will be with Customers and Prospective Customers, may be from time to time with Key Product Suppliers.
7) KEY COMPETENCIES / CAPABILITIES
Commercially aware, Sales Driven, Ability to Retain Base Product Information with Strong Customer Engagement skills.
8) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This business development role is internally based but will present opportunities for successful candidates to push out into the field to see Customers from time to time to follow up on qualified opportunities and attend industry networking and trade events representing the company.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE;
Basic Salary ca. £30,000 experience dependant. Commission; OTE £5,000 (but uncapped potential). Company Pension & Life Cover (3 x salary). Employee Assistance Scheme. Health Shield scheme.
