Can you help your local hospice raise vital funds for our specialist care?
Location: Marsh Barton Warehouse, Exeter, 2 Trusham Road, Exeter, Devon, EX2 8RB
Typical activities include:
1. Front of house:
o Serve shop customers
o Ask customers about our Gift Aid scheme when accepting donations
o Support manager with window displays
o Promote and sell Hospiscare’s lottery
2. Back of house:
o Sort donations
o Steam and prepare donated clothing for sale
o Clean homeware (vases, plates, etc. prior to sale)
o Price stock (including Gift Aid and non-Gift Aid items)
o Replenish stock
What we’re looking for:
* Work as part of a team
* Interact well with customers
* Be friendly, reliable and welcoming
* Take direction
* Able to complete training, follow policies and apply Hospiscare’s values of compassion, respect, professionalism and inclusivity.
What we offer:

* ‘Volunteering Essentials’ core training for all Hospiscare volunteers
* Gift Aid training
