Job Title: Locum Audiologist Banding : Band 6 Location: Nottingham Start Date: ASAP Duration : Ongoing Available Dates: October 18th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th (additional dates to be confirmed) Rate : £24 - £27 per hour Job Description: We are seeking a Band 6 Locum Audiologist to join our team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Peterborough. In this role, you will provide audiology services on an ad-hoc basis, ensuring high-quality patient care in line with professional standards. What your responsibilities will be for this Audiology role? As a Band 6 Locum Audiologist you will conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for patients, adhering to British Society of Audiology (BSA) standards. You will utilize testing equipment such as Auditbase, Otosuite, and Natus Auricles to carry out accurate audiological evaluations. You will interpret test results and provide appropriate recommendations for further management or referrals based on the findings. You will maintain clear and detailed documentation of all assessments, treatments, and patient interactions in accordance with professional guidelines. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes for patients. Qualifications and Experiences: Must be a registered Audiologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Must hold a relevant degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification. Experience in performing hearing tests in accordance with BSA standards is essential. Proficiency in using Auditbase, Otosuite, and Natus Auricles is preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills are required. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
