Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood - Final Assembly & Finish - 13 Month Placement (July 2025)
We are a large team responsible for assembling vehicles from the iconic ‘marriage’ of the engine/chassis until the journey end of becoming a finished Rolls-Royce vehicle. Driven by our customer demand, we strive to achieve all our quality, cost and time targets daily. Problem solving, project and people management, vehicle inspection, finesse and assembly skills form part of our main daily business. Our team is seeking an intern to join from July 2025.
What awaits you?
1. Support the coordination and management of specific production quality tasks and help solve them through active problem-solving activities.
2. Support, analyse and implement improvements to our overall production processes.
3. Support, coordinate and steer senior production management circles both on working and project levels.
4. Data collation to support the reporting and running of the Assembly Line.
5. Review, steer and deliver the overall continuous improvement projects within the production environment.
Qualifications and Experience
6. Studying a Bachelor’s or integrated Master’s degree and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in Mechanical Engineering or relevant course.
7. Fluent in English; a working knowledge of German would be beneficial.
8. Extensive PC skills (Microsoft Office, CAD, SharePoint, Python etc).
9. Problem solving, time management and communication skills shown through involvement in projects and activities undertaken at university or in spare time.
10. Ability to interpret data and give recommendations based on this.
11. Lean Manufacturing knowledge would be beneficial.
12. Any other skills that will benefit our business that you can give evidence of how you have applied these skills.
