Key Responsibilities
:
* Provide administrative support to fee earners, including preparing documents, managing client files, and arranging appointments.
* Assist with managing residential property transactions from start to finish, including liaising with clients, estate agents, and third parties.
* Draft and review standard correspondence and legal documents related to property transactions.
* Handle client queries and provide updates on progress, helping to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.
* Over time, take on more responsibility in managing elements of the conveyancing process, gaining direct experience in client-facing tasks.
Requirements:
* Experience as a Legal Secretary or Assistant, ideally within residential property or conveyancing.
* A strong understanding of the conveyancing process and residential property transactions (desirable, but not essential).
* Excellent organisational and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
* A proactive attitude and the ability to manage tasks independently, while also being a team player.
* Strong IT skills and the ability to use legal case management software.
