Job Roles: Attendance Office/ Senior School Administrator. Location: Middleton Dates: ASAP - November 2025. Rate of pay: £17,00 - £25,000 per anum, depending on experience. The school and role We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Attendance Office / Senior Administrator to join our team as soon as possible. This position is temporary, covering maternity leave, and is expected to last until November 2025. The role requires commitment from Monday to Friday, with working hours either from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, during term time only. Key Responsibilities: Managing student attendance, overseeing admissions for Nursery, Reception, and in-year transfers, and regularly updating and generating reports from the SIMS database. Handle arrangements for school trips, manage arrears collections, and maintain effective communication with parents and staff. General administrative tasks will also be part of your daily responsibilities. Proficiency in SIMS is essential for this role, as it plays a critical part in managing our school's operations. Essential Requirements: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with School Information Management Systems (SIMS) for attendance tracking, admissions, and reporting. Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively. Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and managing schedules. Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with parents, staff, and students professionally and effectively.
