About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of French to join our vibrant and supportive school community in Essex from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher (ECT) to inspire students and help them develop a love for languages in a school that prioritizes work-life balance for all staff.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach French to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5).
2. Create engaging, inspiring, and differentiated lessons to ensure students develop both linguistic and cultural understanding.
3. Assess and track student progress, providing meaningful feedback to help them reach their full potential.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve the French department and school-wide initiatives.
5. Contribute to extracurricular activities, including language clubs and school trips (if desired).

The Ideal Candidate:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a passion for teaching French.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage and motivate students.
3. A commitment to fostering an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
4. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
5. A focus on student welfare and a desire to inspire a lifelong love for languages.
