Looking for variety, flexibility, and the ability to work where you work best? We're recruiting on behalf of our client, a respected accounting and advisory firm based in Hastings. This is a fantastic hybrid opportunity for an experienced management accountant or bookkeeper to take ownership of key financial functions while enjoying the balance of in-office and remote work.
What you'll be doing:
* Running payroll (twice monthly) on the 16th
* Preparing monthly management accounts
* Gathering and reporting monthly KPI data
* Assisting with annual budget preparation
* Bank reconciliations and processing online payments
* Debtor management and follow-up
* Providing general administrative support when required
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in bookkeeping or management accounting
* Strong working knowledge of Xero and APS (or quick to learn)
* Detail-oriented, reliable, and great with deadlines
* Self-starter who communicates well and works independently
* Comfortable working both onsite and from home
Location: Hastings-based office + work-from-home flexibility
Hours: Approx. 30 hours per week - you choose the days, but must be available for payroll on the 16th & 31st (or previous business day)
