Job Title – HS&E Coordinator – Environment Division Location - Grangemouth What you will be doing: An opportunity has arisen for a HS&E Coordinator to join the team at Galliford Try. Ideally, you will be based in or around the Grangemouth area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region. As HS&E Coordinator you will support the HS&E Performance Manager on all aspects of health, safety, and environmental performance, reporting, and systems management. You will have responsibility for maintaining and coordinating key information to help drive performance indicators. This role would be perfect for someone who is highly organised and has a ‘can do’ attitude. We need someone with an incredible attention to detail and confident in their own ability. The location of the role is flexible, but you may be required to travel UK wide between offices and sites. Key Accountabilities: Build, gather and monitor, safety, and environmental data. Manage and maintain HS&E data by implementing relevant reporting standards, processes, and procedures. Visually prepare HS&E data in ways that are universally understandable and easy to interpret. Actively work and drive communications with stakeholders in Galliford Try, our client’s and supply chain to gather data that support the business decision making. Assist in driving improvements in data management processes and practices. Identification and development of new reports for HS&E performance analysis and reporting purposes. Drive the HS&E team’s participation in, and responses to internal and external audits. Develop and deliver training to management and operations staff on use of HS&E data systems Schedule and monitor SSER’s and Senior Manager Engagement Visits Key Outputs: Oversee and coordinate operational sites performance in submission of HS&E Data Prepare HS&E communications and presentations Monitor for emerging trends using HS&E performance data Ensure key reporting dates are met internally and externally Work with Framework Managers to make sure actions are closed out in a timely manner Provide administrative support within the HS&E team when required Develop and present data solutions training to the HS&E and operational teams About You: Good communicator, written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders A self-starter with a flexible and robust approach, and able to work as part of a team Highly motivated and curious, self-confident individual Able to engage with the senior team and hold them accountable to commitments Project management skills, someone to plan and manage each programme through to completion Strong reasoning, problem-solving and analytical skills Ability and appetite to learn new skills NEBOSH Construction is preferred but not essential Experience and/or strong passion for working with and learning new technology Experience in the use of the Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, PowerApps and Power BI is desirable Experience working in Construction/Infrastructure is preferred but not essential Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
