We are looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to join our busy team.
The successful candidate will be keen to learn and develop, with strong IT, customer service, admin, communication and organisational skills. Experience of working in a GP Practice is essential. Experience using SystmOne clinical system is essential.
Salary is dependent on experience and skills.

Main duties of the job
Duties will include but not be exclusive to:
1. To type letters, reports and other documents as required by the partners, Practice manager and other team members
2. To process referrals using the e-RS system or other pathways as appropriate
3. To ensure that all referral letters are typed and sent within 48 hours (routine appointments) and 24 hours (2WW and urgent). Make hospital appointments for patients via e-referral system
4. To deal with all non-NHS requests including insurance and solicitors queries, in line with agreed policies and best practice
5. To attend meetings and take minutes when required
6. To Deal with the Electronic Document Interchange Links
7. To summarise Notes
8. To prepare Newsletter and upload info to practice website and FB page
9. To be responsible on matching letters and readcoding
10. To deal with any administrative and secretarial work as instrated by the GPs & Manager
