Key Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support and assistance to the E-Rostering Manager and E-Rostering Facilitators to support with the e-rostering system across the Trust, including inputting starters, leavers, and changes as required and addressing helpdesk queries.
2. Assist in the generation of the time & attendance and sickness & absence payroll files from the E-Rostering System each month, ensuring exceptions are analysed, investigated, and actioned; files are created and transferred to the ESR hub for appropriate payments.
3. Escalate issues where necessary to the E-Rostering Manager.
4. Configure the e-rostering system based on information provided by the E-Rostering Manager.
5. Provide helpdesk advice and support to roster managers on the phone, via email, and in person on the creation, verification, and allocation of rosters, plus other ad hoc queries.
6. Communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
7. Promote and maximise effective use of the E-Rostering System.
8. Encourage and instil confidence in new roster managers to cooperate and use the system effectively.
9. Liaise with the suppliers' helpdesk, when necessary, to resolve system problems.
10. Build effective relationships with ward, department, and line managers to address queries regarding the use of the system.
11. Show due diligence in adherence to and perpetuation of the Trust's policies and procedures.
12. Assist in the review of standards and procedures for the development and use of the e-rostering system.
13. Assist with data cleansing of the ESR system and input data into ESR (e.g., appraisal data, flu vaccination information, and equality and diversity data).
14. Provide analysis for ESR or other data sets as required and directed.

2. Provide effective communication, maintaining excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with staff at all levels within the Trust.
3. Liaise with other departments as required.
4. Take responsibility for continuous professional development.
The role is based on site at Harrogate. Interviews will be held in person on site at Harrogate.
