Progressive: Water Treatment Engineer
Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary/Benefits: 24k - 37k + Training & Benefits
Our Client is a well-regarded name within the Water Treatment industry, with a strong presence in the South East. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a hardwoking Water Treatment Engineer to cover a mix of portfolio of Commercial, Healthcare and Industrial Client sites. Locations of work include: Woking, Guildford, Aldershot, Camberley, Bracknell, Reading, Basingstoke, Slough, Epsom, Sutton, Southall, Croydon, Bromley, Kingston upon Thames, Crawley, Wembley, Didcot, Orpington, Watford, Harrow, Enfield, Redhill.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer for a well-established outfit
- Will have excellent technical knowledge, including ACOP L8, HTM 0401 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Any industry-related training or qualifications would support applications but are not essential
- Must have experience with process systems such as: Closed Systems and Cooling Towers
- Professional attitude and strong Client-facing manner
The Role:
- Undertaking a wide range of Water Treatment and ACOP L8 duties, servicing a mixed portfolio of Client sites
- Legionella/ TVC and Bacti sampling
- Mains injections and smaller pipework flushing
- Closed system sampling and dosing with inhibitors and biocides
- Cleans & Disinfections of Cooling Towers and Cold Water Storage Tanks
- Internal calorifier inspections and descales
- Ensuring Clients remain compliant with industry guidelines
- Upholding company standards and maintaining Client relationships
