We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and compassionate nurse to join our well-established Cardiac Catheter Lab nursing team. We have a friendly and growing multidisciplinary team, and are looking for someone who will be excited to support and work with their team, to advance the current service. Although prior Catheter Lab experience would be desired, we are also able to provide comprehensive in-house Cardiac Catheter Lab and recovery training from our dedicated team.
We have a busy recovery day case area and two cardiac catheter labs. We provide both interventional and electrophysiology work and are looking to expand and develop our current service.
We welcome applications from those who currently hold a UK NMC registration. If you currently hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship we are not currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to be an active member of the team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Cardiac Catheter Lab and Day Case unit. They will be a role model to all, setting and maintaining high standards of nursing care/practice in order to ensure that they are providing high-quality person-centred care. The successful candidate will be expected to support the Cardiologist during diagnostic and investigative procedures, so keen interest in cardiology and a willingness to learn is essential.
