Job overview
The role is for a project support officer to join the team and support projects and programmes of clinical and service delivery. There is a particular focus on the data quality action group and managing data quality projects and supporting the head of data quality. The post holder can get involved in projects and programmes that are linked to both mental health and community services.
Main duties of the job

• The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective running of the secretariat which includes collation of data, financial and project information to improve, inform and support a portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives, whilst keeping databases up-to-date with the latest
information.
• Act as a pivotal communication link between the project/programme team and other teams and external organisations. Ensure that all planned activities are co-ordinated effectively, requiring forward planning, attention to detail, lateral thinking, diplomacy, and
perseverance.
Project Management
• Support the development, management, and implementation of new projects.
Service Improvement
• Support the development of operational processes and improvements to ensure robust
coordination and alignment across the team in the delivery of its operational plan.
• Maintaining accurate, up to date information systems to support the work stream activity.
Analysis & Judgement
• Assess and evaluate information received from project/programme(s) from a range of
reporting sources.

High Cost Area Supplement
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,551 to a maximum of £5,735).
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the facilitation and administration of meetings/panels, including taking formal
minutes that are intended for external review, safeguarding, the production of
agendas and coordination of papers, ensuring that key documents are available within
defined timescales.
• Provision of timely communications to different sections of NELFT staff as required, so all
staff are aware of the key Transformation programmes taking place and their progress.
• Provision of a front of house T-PMO service by managing generic email account and
centralised contact number.
Project Management
• Support the development, management, and implementation of new projects.
• Manage the project documents and databases.
• Skilled in the use of Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Support, monitor and report on project activities.
• Provide support in the writing and finalising of papers, briefs, and communication pieces.
• Arranging meetings and appointments via the calendar system with both external and
internal personnel.
• Support workshop and event planning, including content, ensuring that project teams are
fully prepared for meetings with supporting paperwork and information.
• Co-ordinate speakers, distribute agendas, papers, and minutes for meetings as
appropriate.
• Book venues, catering and equipment for events, setting up rooms as necessary.
• Provide administrative support to the team as required, including taking minutes or notes
of meetings.
• To manage a demanding and sometimes unpredictable work pattern in a methodical
organised manner and to prioritise workload independently and use own initiative.
