Our Customer Relations Team is looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic team player to join them in resolving our customers' and service users' concerns. The role involves taking charge of the complaints through management of your own cases; from the point of initial contact to resolution and formal response.
This is a full-time, permanent position based at County Offices, Lincoln, supporting the Customer Relations Team.
We are looking for a customer-focused individual who enjoys striving towards resolving our customers' concerns. The role offers an opportunity to learn about a vast majority of the council's services and impact the way in which these are delivered through appropriate resolution. If you are detail-oriented, pride yourself on your written and verbal communication, and are looking for a role where no two days are the same, then this could be the right opportunity for you.
The role
Our teams are friendly, welcoming, and will support you in training to undertake a wide range of duties for departments across LCC. Being fully integrated into every team, Business Support Assistants often become subject matter experts in the areas they support, developing and supporting best practices. You really can make a difference. You must have a keen eye for detail and be willing to learn about several services offered by Lincolnshire County Council to a basic level. You will also be required to maintain professional relationships across the authority, using these to ensure that we do the best for our community.
We aim to look at all cases with an impartial view, which ultimately results in identifying areas of improvement for the Local Authority.
What we're looking for
We need team players with drive and determination. You'll also have a flexible, can-do positive attitude and a real desire to provide exceptional service. The Business Support family works flexibly to meet the needs of all services across the organisation; this means that some of our roles require cover for later hours and weekend working. You can find more information at Rewards and benefits – Lincolnshire County Council.
