The Whitworth, The University of Manchester is seeking to appoint a Curatorial Assistant (Collections). You will be supporting our team of Curators to develop and deliver our programme of collection displays and exhibitions to the highest standard. The role requires working with, caring for, and providing access to our internationally important collections of historic, modern, and contemporary art, textiles, and wallpapers.
We are looking for an emerging curator who is dynamic, open-minded, and collaborative. You must have a passion for the visual arts and its narratives, and an interest in making the Whitworth’s renowned collections and programmes accessible and relevant to the widest possible audience.
