The Role:
As the range of projects that we work on grow, so does our team! We're currently looking to hire a Senior Project Manager IT at our coastal office in Weymouth.
The role of the Senior Project Manager IT is to provide leadership, governance and delivery of complex projects across the ASMPT Group. This role is reporting to group head of IT infrastructure. Managing IT initiatives that sit within this portfolio and involve projects and programmes that span infrastructure and applications projects and associated activities:
You will:
* Development of ASMPT group governance around project methodologies, creating overall strategies for delivery of the governance including change management and managing the virtual IT PMO.
* Supporting the Global IT leadership team in development and delivery of programmes involving multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive value back into the ASMPT group.
* Direct project management for large, complex, business critical projects. This requires alignment and coordination with the customer, the other teams in IT and external vendors, to ensure the project is delivered with a successful outcome.
* Incorporating and championing Change Management to ensure that the projects within the portfolio are implemented in a controlled and efficient way.
* Key reporting metrics on programme delivery, project progress and stakeholder engagement to IT leadership, are also included in this role.
* Understand problem statements and be able to provide business analysis to create deliverables within projects and programmes
* Work with the IT leadership to break down business requirements into structured deliverables focusing on benefit delivery
* Develop a strong business network to support outcomes
About You:
We’re looking enthusiastic individual to join our team!
You Will:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* APM PFQ and PROSCI Change Practitioner
* At least 10 years’ experience in IT Project Management
* Programme Management qualification e.g MSP
* Advanced skills in M365 Products (Office suite, Teams etc)
* Advanced skills using MS Project
* Capable in the use of the Change Management Toolset
