The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, data interpretation, pricing and business partnering. You will play a key role in driving strategic financial decisions, optimising profitability, and supporting the companys growth through insightful analysis and collaboration. Role and Responsibilities Pricing Management and Analysis Develop and Implement Pricing for New Products: Collaborate with product management teams to establish pricing strategies for new bicycles and accessories, including tactical pricing for promotional opportunities and gifting campaigns. Lead Annual Pricing Reviews : Oversee the annual price adjustment process by analyzing cost increases, market trends, and competitive conditions to recommend pricing changes across all product categories. Establish Pricing Corridors: Design and monitor pricing ranges to ensure flexibility while maintaining consistency with financial objectives and strategic goals. Optimise Product Line Profitability: Partner with product management to evaluate sales performance, profit margins, and inventory data, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and streamline pricing strategies. Support Revenue Forecasting: Assist in quarterly rolling forecasts, incorporating the impact of pricing strategies, cost variations, and external factors such as currency fluctuations. Monitor and Report Pricing Performance: Create regular performance reports and actionable insights, recommending adjustments to optimize pricing effectiveness and maintain market competitiveness. Collaborative Stakeholder Engagement Align Pricing with Business Objectives: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure that pricing strategies support overall business goals and promotional initiatives. Enhance Data Accuracy and Usability: Collaborate with the data and analytics team to ensure financial and pricing data is derived from validated sources, identifying opportunities to improve data quality and develop advanced tools for the finance team. Financial Analysis and Business Case Development Develop Business Cases: Provide strategic insights and comprehensive financial models for new products, investment opportunities, and commercial initiatives to support decision-making and long-term planning. Analyze Cost Drivers: Deliver clear cost breakdowns and highlight key risks and opportunities to stakeholders, ensuring informed and effective decision-making processes. Support Capital Expenditure Reporting: Track and report on capital expenditure, identifying cost drivers and opportunities for savings to enhance operational efficiency. Contribute to Budgeting and Forecasting: Play a critical role in the preparation and delivery of key financial deliverables, including budgets and quarterly re-forecast cycles, by developing detailed reports and presentations for management and board review. Operational and Process Excellence Manage Headcount Capitalisation: Ensure accurate project allocations from directors and manage the timesheet process to support the capitalisation of headcount effectively. Provide Ad Hoc Reporting: Deliver customized analyses and reports as needed, supporting leadership teams, finance stakeholders, and board-level discussions with actionable insights. Sustainability Use socially and environmentally responsible practices while in the workplace and accept and follow relevant training, policies, and procedures, complying with all applicable laws, and regulations. Key Skills and Experience CIMA, ACA part qualified desired but not essential Degree in accounting, finance or equivalent desired but not essential Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint Exposure to coding in SQL in on-premises and cloud environments Excellent communicator (oral and written) & experience in influencing decisions Confident in liaising with senior internal stakeholders Self-driven, determined and demonstrates a high level of initiative Comfortable with ambiguity - being able to provide clarity, and guide decision making Able to work independently and highly meticulous Willingness to learn Strong planning, organising, prioritisation skills.
