VoCoVo has achieved fantastic growth in our domestic market over the past 5 years, attaining many well-known retail brands as our customers. As a Senior Project Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in our continued aim of delivering the 'connected store' to all of our new and existing customers, making retail tasks seamless and efficient.
Please note, to apply for this position you must be based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK. This position is a hybrid remote position with approximately two days per month working at our Cheltenham office, alongside visits to customer sites.
What we're looking for
* A deep understanding of delivery management and extensive delivery management experience, ideally within the Retail field.
* Strong experience in managing multiple concurrent product and service delivery projects.
* Advanced certifications such as PRINCE2 Practitioner or Professional Scrum Master, alongside Agile expertise and experience.
* A proven ability to control projects as a P&L, control project costs, manage change and to identify and mitigate risk.
* You will be comfortable interpreting specifications and contract requirements and can deliver fully compliant solutions and execution plans.
* Experience in the leadership and implementation of complex projects.
* Great communication skills, an ability to effectively negotiate with senior-level management and to manage multiple stakeholder groups.
* Great problem solving abilities to maintain delivery momentum and resolve issues promptly.
* A proactive approach to aid in identifying and mitigating potential issues across all project delivery phases.
* Adherence and input into structured project processes to aid effective delivery.
* Delivery of weekly executive summaries and regular project updates.
* A great understanding of the Google Office Suite, in particular Google Sheets, Docs and Slides.
* German language skills would be highly desirable in this role but are not an essential skill.
What you'll do
* Plan and execute projects in accordance with the Client specifications, contract terms, schedules, management methodology and quality procedures.
* Manage controllable costs and cash flow, and cost to completion forecasts in order to maximise profitability.
* Provide accurate resource forecasts and early visibility of potential risks and delays to the programme by third parties, suppliers and subcontractors.
* Support the (internal or external) PMO in achieving compliance with Client requirements and meeting the operational and business objectives of the project.
* Manage multiple concurrent projects by utilising plans and deliverable schedules.
* Maintain project risk registers and recommend/implement mitigating actions.
* Consistently monitor progress and change based on key dates and KPI's.
* Conduct regular financial reviews and update the relevant systems to reflect accurate project health.
* Ensure billing and on time payment of invoices and enhanced cash flow.
* Carry out review meetings with stakeholders and task owners to track outputs and actions, utilising the project action register documents.
Salary
Salary range: £65,000 - £75,000
