We are offering a 12-month secondment at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, where you will play a key role in supporting the Diagnostic Imaging Department within North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
About the Role
As an Informatics Support Officer, you will work closely with the PACS Manager, Clerical Manager, and Clinical Systems Manager to deliver exceptional informatics services. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting the clerical team across the Trust.
2. Managing and analysing diagnostic imaging data.
3. Overseeing day-to-day administration within the department.
4. Performing basic statistical analyses and generating reports.
5. Producing regular feedback reports for staff and local healthcare providers as directed by the Diagnostic Imaging leadership team.
6. Responsible for the weekly clerical rota.
7. Responsible for clerical annual leave requests.
8. Deputise for the Clerical Manager.
9. Carry out MPAs on clerical team members.
10. Plan, organise and prioritise a broad range of complex activities including their own and other staff members.
11. Problem solve and troubleshoot within an unpredictable environment to ensure continuity of service.
12. First point of contact for clerical issues on the Hinchingbrooke site.
In addition, you will be required to deputise for other team members during their absence and contribute to maintaining high standards within the department.
