Job Title: ESOL Lecturer
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Contract
Salary: £31,788- £35,777
We are seeking an experienced full-time lecturer in ESOL to provide high-quality teaching and pastoral support for all students and support the mission, aims, and strategic objectives of the college.

Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver well-planned, fun and unmissable teaching, presenting ESOL and functional skills to students in Languages, Maths and Adult Studies as part of an ambitious, coherently planned and sequenced plan of learning, the understanding of which is checked and addressed systematically so that you are confident that learners are building knowledge and acquiring skills to achieve curriculum outcomes that support progression to future learning and employment.
· Develop assessments and mark students’ work in accordance with awarding body requirements and College policy, to check understanding providing clear, direct and constructive feedback which addressess misconceptions and enables students to embed and develop their knowledge and skills.
Criteria
* ESOL Qualification (or related subject)
* A Degree
* A PGCE/Cert Ed or equivalent
* Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent)
* Experience of teaching ESOL
* Ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in order to deliver individual and team objectives.
* Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, or equivalent packages.
* Experience of designing and delivering content and/or learning materials within existing frameworks.
