Field Service Engineer (Level 3 electrical required)
Location: UK-wide (frequent travel, with up to 3 nights per week away from home) convenient locations are Manchester, Nottingham, Coventry and Milton Keynes.
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 + bonuses & progression opportunities
About the Role
This role supports sustainable water reuse by ensuring systems are well-maintained, operational, and deliver client value. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll work independently on-site across the UK, from Aberdeen to the South Coast, your role will be the service and maintenance of rainwater systems, pumps, control panels, valves etc.
Responsibilities
* Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on rainwater harvesting systems, including filters, pumps, electrical controls, and UV filtration.
* Quality Assurance: Follow health, safety, and operational protocols; meet KPIs for service quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
* Customer Interaction: Deliver excellent customer service, provide site updates, and create detailed reports.
* Administration: Record activities in the CRM, complete site reports and health/safety documentation accurately and on time.
* Technical Support & Training: Support new engineers and assist the office team with technical inquiries.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Discipline: Essential for this role - all backgrounds considered)
* Driver's License: Must have a full UK driving license.
* Travel & Lodging: Willingness to travel across the UK and lodge out up to 3 nights per week.
* Office / Dept Attendance: Required to attend the office in Nottingham, Manchester, Milton Keynes, or Coventry once a week, or once a fortnight if suitable.
