This is an opportunity for a Content Creator with an understanding of the PR industry to join an agency as they continue an exciting journey towards a more consumer-focussed client base. You don't need masses of experience, but you must have at least 18 months in a commercial social media/content creation role. The role: This is a brand new role driven by the transformational change the agency is undertaking. They realise that the way their consumer clients' customers see the world and interact with brands is changing and they're looking to take on a specialist to focus on all content creation for their burgeoning consumer client base. The role will be varied, and will evolve, but as it stands it will involve working closely with influencers who create very high end content and re-purposing this for additional client content, but it will also involve creating content inhouse, so working with photographers and videographers for some clients, but going out and shooting content yourself, editing and re-purposing. Naturally, you'll also need to be able to look at the metrics to see what's working and what isn't - kpi's are still really important, but you'll also have an understanding of the latest technologies and algorithms and how these might affect content produced. Main outlets for content will be Instagram and Tiktok, and most of the work you produce will be organic, but you will work with the digital team within the agency on any paid work. The agency is mid-sized and has built a fabulous reputation over the years. What we’re looking for: You'll either be in a consumer focussed social media content role and have an understanding of PR, or you'll be in a PR role which is heavily content focussed and be keen to turn your career more in this direction. It's fair to say this role is just a starting point within the agency. it is absolutely essential that you have a consumer background and have experience working with Tiktok and Instagram and have been used to building relationships with influencers. You'll also be 'hands-on' and have experience of curating your own content from the ground up as well as editing and polishing work created by others. As you grow and your skills build, the anticipation is that the team around you will also grow and you'll have lots of opportunity to enhance both your career and your salary. What’s on Offer? Starting salary will be in the region of £27-30,000, but this will increase as you grow and develop through the agency. The role is hybrid, 3 days in the office on set days so everyone is in together, and there's loads of softer benefits to go along with this. The beauty of this role is that you'd be joining at the start of a new team so the opportunities for progression and development, for the right candidate, are unique.
