Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing supply chain strategies that are efficient, timely, and cost-effective.
* Overseeing and managing the overall supply chain and logistics operations to maximise efficiency and productivity.
* Collaborating and negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
* Analysing data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.
* Ensuring the adequate and timely delivery of products to consumers.
* Managing inventory, warehousing, and transportation.
* Working within the procurement team to forecast demand and ensure stock levels remain steady.
* Implementing new operational strategies as the supply chain evolves.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate would have:
* Experience in a similar Supply Chain role.
* Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
* Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and their interdependencies.
* High level of competence in using supply chain management software.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
* Exceptional communication skills.
