POSITION OVERVIEW:
1. This is a multi-skilled role incorporating both Front Office and Food and Beverage Duties in line with the business demands
2. You will have the ability to multi-task while under pressure and have a proactive personality in this busy hands on role
3. Welcomes guests and fosters customer loyalty though his/her friendly manner
4. Handles and resolves any guest complaints
5. Provides guests with a single point of contact throughout their stay
6. Based in the lobby and ready to assist at any stage of the guests stay, from check in to check out and everything in between
7. The role includes Checking and Checking out Guest
8. Working in the Food and Beverage outlets including Breakfast, Bar, Lunch and Dinner
9. Support the Reservations Team Member when needed
10. Support the Back Office Experts when needed
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
11. Welcomes guests as soon as they arrive with great care and attention
12. Helps encourage customer loyalty by building friendly, personalized relationships
13. Ensures that administrative procedures never take priority over guest relations
14. Anticipates guests' needs and takes them into consideration
15. Handles any guest complaints and/or remarks; provides a response as soon as possible, respecting the Ibis 15-minute contract
16. Has an impeccable attitude which conveys the image of the brand and hotel
17. Completes all tasks linked to the guest's arrival and departure in compliance with internal procedures
18. Informs guests about any particular conditions or formalities during the stay, and about the services offered by the hotel
19. Handles phone calls and reservations
20. Ensures that all the documents, products and provisions needed for the department and/or guests are available and up-to-date
21. Handling any guest feedback be it positive or negative
22. Promoting the company's ALL loyalty program Ensuring all working and public areas are cleaned
FOOD & BEVERAGE:
23. Take orders and payments
24. Prepares snacks, food, drinks or breakfasts during operational hours
25. Serves guests (provides waiter service and clears away) in the point of sale, in line with the F&B concept (restaurant, meeting room, breakfast & bar)
26. Provides a high standard of service both in terms of welcome and waiter service
27. Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service
ADMINISTRATION:
28. Responsible for the cashiering procedures in the department
29. Any other administration job given by the HOD
30. Respects the procedures concerning invoicing and cash operations
