The Purpose and Activities of DCHS?
Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.
We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in peoples own homes and via virtual consultations.
During the pandemic response we have led the implementation of public vaccination centres in collaboration with partners across health and social care.

As a self-starter with a proactive mindset, you'll take ownership of high-impact projects, starting with the delivery of the Integrated Quality Performance and Assurance Matrix (IQPAM). Working closely with operational services, you'll develop tools to monitor and enhance the measures that matter, directly influencing the quality of care we provide.

Education, Qualifications And Training
Essential criteria
* Degree Level Education in a relevant subject (or equivalent experience)
* Evidence of continuing professional development
Desirable criteria
* Project management qualification
* Leadership development training
* Quality improvement training
* Professional certifications such as QSIR, PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certifications
* Masters Level Education in a relevant subject (or equivalent experience)
Experience And Knowledge Required
Essential criteria
* Proven experience in transformation management or similar roles.
* Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
* Excellent project management skills and proficiency in project management tools.
* Report writing, presentation and information analysis experience
* Strong understanding of the opportunities of artificial intelligence and large language models
Desirable criteria
* Experience of use of QSIR or other improvement methodologies
* Experience of using code-based languages/tools for analytical or automation purposes (e.g. python)
Skills and Attributes
Essential criteria
* Demonstrable competence in presenting and explaining complex information
* Able to lead and motivate others using influencing skills rather than line management
