About Our Client:
As we continue to experience remarkable growth, we are on the lookout for a passionate QA Engineer to augment our dynamic QA department. Our client prides themselves on their commitment to both manual and automation testing, and we believe a strong manual tester could be the perfect addition to our clients dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full Software Testing Lifecycle Expertise: Showcase your prowess in navigating the Software Testing Lifecycle, from meticulous requirement gathering to comprehensive test planning, test case production, test execution, and robust bug reporting.
* Agile Framework Mastery: Work collaboratively on both team and individual projects, seamlessly integrating with our clients Agile framework for testing cycles (while our clients projects follow mainly Waterfall methodology as a whole).
* Thorough Documentation: Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely and meaningful feedback to ensure project success.
* Test Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Efficiently estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities for seamless execution.
* Automation Excellence: If you have a flair for automation, bring your skills to the table by designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using open-source tools, with a specific emphasis on Selenium Web Driver.
* Bug Tracking and Regression Testing: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs, ensuring thorough regression testing when issues are resolved.
* Process Enhancement: Contribute to the development and application of testing processes for new and existing products, aligning with client needs and industry best practices.
* Collaborative Communication: Liaise effectively with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to identify system requirements and ensure a seamless testing process.
* Continuous Improvement: Monitor debugging process results, investigate the causes of non-conforming software, and proactively train users to implement effective solutions.
Requirements:
* 5 years of experience in either manual or automation testing.
* Versatility in multiple testing types, including Smoke, Stress, Regression, and UI testing.
* Automation experience with Selenium Web Driver.
* Proficiency in testing within an Agile framework.
* ISTQB certification (highly desirable).
