Celtic Freeport is an exciting project that will unlock the widest possible opportunities for Wales by accelerating innovation and encouraging significant investment, while fast-tracking modern skills for new green industries and national decarbonisation. We are a public-private consortium whose partners include Associated British Ports (ABP), Neath Port Talbot Council, Pembrokeshire County Council and the Port of Milford Haven. With development sites throughout Neath Port Talbot and Pembrokeshire, we will support the development of thousands of new green jobs, generate £5.5 billion of new investment, and accelerate the roll-out of floating offshore wind, the hydrogen economy and the production of sustainable fuels.
Following our incorporation as a company, we are seeking a Chair for an initial three year term. Leading our board which comprises of both public and private sector directors, and working with our newly recruited Chief Executive, you will ensure that this vital project is brought to fruition. A natural convenor, you will work across our partners, landowners, supply chains and beyond for the greater good of our residents.
