Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple companies within the ABF Grocery division. Supporting some of our well-known brands such as Kingsmill, Pataks, Blue Dragon, Jordans, Ryvita and Silver Spoon, amongst others. We deliver Shared Service activities across a wide range of disciplines including Customer Services, Consumer Care, Finance, Payroll, HR and IS.
Overview of role
Location: Liverpool GSC
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Customs Compliance Administrator to work across multiple businesses within the GSC.
The role will be crucial in ensuring that all post-clearance checks are in place for goods movements and managing the Trader Support Service (TSS) declarations.
This position is vital for maintaining compliance with customs regulations and supporting the smooth operation of our supply chain teams across ABF Grain Products Ltd.
This role is permanent and hybrid working in the office 2 days a week. Salary: £30,000 - £32,000pa.

Key Accountabilities
Post-Clearance Checks:
* Conduct thorough post-clearance audits across our businesses to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
* Identify and rectify any discrepancies in customs documentation and declarations.
* Maintain accurate records of all post-clearance activities and findings.
TSS Declarations Management:
* Prepare and submit TSS declarations for all relevant goods movements.
* Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather necessary information for TSS submissions.
* Monitor and track the status of TSS declarations, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Compliance and Reporting:
* Stay updated with changes in customs regulations and ensure the businesses are compliant.
* Prepare regular reports on customs compliance activities and present findings to senior management.
* Assist in the development and implementation of customs compliance policies and procedures.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless customs processes.
* Provide guidance and training to internal teams on customs compliance requirements.
* Act as the point of contact for customs authorities and other regulatory bodies.
The Right Person
* Ideally experience in customs compliance, and a willingness to learn detailed customs procedures and regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be liaising both across businesses and with third parties.
