As a member of the Clinical Systems Team, this challenging and rewarding role will include providing support to clinicians, managers, and other colleagues on the most effective and efficient use of clinical systems through design, configuration, and development, assist in the provision of a clinical systems help-desk function, and undertake training activities.
As a Clinical Systems Configuration Analyst, you will support business change, project teams, and services with changes and setup of systems. This busy role working with all teams across the trust will be challenging and rewarding for the right candidate.

Main duties of the job
* To provide support to the Clinical Systems Teams management of the Trust’s core clinical systems and electronic patient records.
* To support the implementation, development, and business as usual of the trusts clinical systems.
* The post holder will promote and champion the use of technology to enhance clinical services.
* Leading on the configuration workstream for key projects within the CPFT Clinical Systems Team.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

* Provide second and third level support for CPFT clinical systems, including the operation of a clinical systems helpdesk function.
* Support implementation of processes for second level support change requests.
* Offer advice and guidance on effective use of clinical systems.
* Responsible for analysing user requirements and translating these requirements into solutions.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed.
* To lead on specific projects as required for services across CPFT.
* Assist the Clinical Systems Manager and project managers in delivery of the IT projects.
* If required, deliver training sessions.
* Ensure all training materials are up to date and appropriate.
* Monitoring and maintaining Data Quality and Information Governance requirements.
* Carry out system configuration work as required.
Person specification
Education / Qualifications
* Degree in IT or numeric subject, or in-depth experience in relevant roles.
* Good command of written English.
* PRINCE2 or Agile project management.
* ITIL Foundation or above.
Experience
* In-depth experience in supporting Clinical Information Systems.
* Experience supporting and training on IT systems.
* Experience of system testing.
* Experience of working in project environment and delivering product within specified deadlines.
* Experience of planning and organising own workload.
* Experience of managing a demanding workload including prioritising work.
* Experience in using Microsoft packages MS Visio, MS Project.
Skills & Abilities
* Highly motivated.
