Creative A&R Manager (Junior Level)

Role Overview: We are looking for a passionate and driven Creative A&R Manager to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating and facilitating new creative opportunities for our roster, from organising writing sessions to sourcing top-line writers, collaborating with the Head of A&R, and expanding our network with artists, managers, and labels, as well as contributing to and sourcing new talent to signing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creative Initiative: Take the lead on driving the creative agenda by actively seeking opportunities for collaboration between our roster and external writers, producers, and artists.
* Create Opportunities: Organise and oversee writing sessions, camps, and collaborations to ensure our roster gets the best out of every creative opportunity.
* Pitching Songs: Regularly pitch original songs and collaborate with industry contacts to secure placements for our roster. Maintain a quarterly pitch mailer to keep our music top of mind.
* Scouting Talent: Continuously push to scout new talent across genres, ensuring a fresh and dynamic roster. Actively identifying emerging artists is essential to staying ahead, fostering creative growth, and securing the next generation of stars.
* Top-Line Procurement: Work with label teams to source top-line vocals and ensure the final product meets the high standards of our artists and label.
* Networking & Relationships: Develop and maintain strong industry relationships with managers, labels, and publishers. Expand your network proactively, turning every connection into an opportunity.
* Feedback & Guidance: Provide critical feedback on tracks, fostering an environment of continuous improvement, and helping our artists grow and evolve.
* Catalogue Management: Contribute to maintaining and organising our catalogue to ensure seamless accessibility of master recordings, stems, and instrumentals through platforms like DISCO.
* Diversity in Music: Actively promote inclusivity by identifying and nurturing talent from diverse backgrounds.
Person Specification:
* Experience: At least two years in a similar role.
* Passion for Music: A deep love for music, especially electronic, indie, and dance genres.
* Industry Network: Established connections with A&Rs, managers, labels, and publishers.
* Self-Starter: Proactive, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills.
* Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
* Technical Skills: Strong experience with tools like Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and music cataloguing platforms (e.g., DISCO). Creative skills (Adobe Suite) are a plus.
