The Fox Rescuers is a wildlife charity registered with the Charity Commission ( 1198272 ) The organisation is looking to recruit someone to join our small but dedicated team to help take care of sick and injured foxes and orphan fox cubs with the aim of being able to release them back into the wild. A large part of the job role is twice daily feeding of the foxes and meticulous cleaning of the kennels, outside pens and the treatment room. Other duties include taking foxes to and from the vets, assisting with treatment of wounds, general observation of the foxes in our care in case of a change in their behaviour or condition, taking traps out to sites, collecting foxes that have been contained in a trap, responding to emergency call outs, general housekeeping at the facility and (best of all) assisting with the release of foxes when they are well enough to leave us and return home. Training will be given. This is initially a part time role working 3 days a week. Some weekend work may be required. Driving Licence essential. Interviews for shortlisted candidates will take place in Stockport on March 17th or 18th.
