Quality Auditor - Telecoms
Location: South Wales/Bristol
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Morrison Telecom Services and Avonline Networks, part of the M Group Services Telecoms Division, are looking for an experienced Quality Auditor to join our team. If you have a strong background in auditing and coaching, ideally on the Openreach network and a sound knowledge of FTTC and FTTP, we want to hear from you!
The Role:
As a Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our telecoms installations and engineering activities meet the highest quality and compliance standards. You will conduct on-site audits, provide coaching to field teams, and work closely with operational teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct quality audits on telecoms infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Openreach and industry standards
2. Provide coaching and feedback to field engineers, helping to improve best practices
3. Identify and report on quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
4. Work collaboratively with operational teams to drive high standards of workmanship
5. Ensure FTTC and FTTP installations meet required technical and safety regulations
6. Support the continuous improvement of quality processes within the business
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience in auditing and coaching, ideally within the Openreach network
2. Strong knowledge of FTTC and FTTP technologies and best practices
3. Ability to assess work quality, provide constructive feedback, and drive improvement
4. Excellent communication skills with a proactive and solution-focused approach
5. Full UK driving licence (travel to sites will be required)
6. Minimum of three years as a supervisor within the telecoms industry. NRSWA Street Works Supervisor Card and Smart awards accreditations: SA001, SA002, S007.
