As a Change and Release Analyst, you’ll ensure efficient and effective IT Change and Release Management practices are followed, whilst delivering an exceptional service to Newcastle Building Society and Newcastle Strategic Solutions by delivering against the change enablement and release management practices.
You’ll coordinate the safe transition of software changes between development, test and live environments, acting as an escalation point when dealing with expectations, alongside facilitating and planning for the implementation of change and release by utilising the expertise of agile and traditional technical teams.
The IT Change Enablement practice provides our colleagues with the necessary support alongside the tools, processes, and strategies to help the business adapt and transition to change within an organisation. Whilst managing risk with the right controls to keep disruptions to services to a minimum whilst enabling change.
About You
You’ll have previous experience working with Change & Release, ensuring IT Change and Release management practices are followed, alongside the ability to absorb and understand complex technical environments and take ownership of technical deployment activities.
With a keen governance and Change Enablement background. You would have a strong background in innovation and improvement and a keen desire to drive transformation and maturity within the function. The ability to adapt your communication style to meet the needs of the audience is central to the role, as is effectively negotiating conflicts in approaches between teams and analysing complex data sets, to understand and identify control failures or gaps. Knowledge of Agile and DevOps frameworks, or an ITIL Foundation qualification would be desirable, but isn’t essential for the role.
