We are working in Partnership with a number of Alternative Provision's who are looking to recruit a Specialist Teaching Assisitant in a challenging yet rewarding role. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide educational support and make a meaningful impact on students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and lead lesson plans and activities as a HLTA
* Assist students with alternative learning methods.
* Provide one-on-one support to students requiring additional help.
* Collaborate with the teaching team to foster a positive learning environment.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
* Provide opportunities for small group work, and individual support in addressing targets identified in ILPs and EHCP's
Requirements:
1. Experience working with children or young people, ideally whose who have exhibted challenging and often complex needs, and behaviours that prevent them from attending a mainstream school
2. Ability to educate and engage students effectively, delivering academic work via 1:1 sessions with pupils
3. Strong communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
