Supporting the Accountant, the Bookkeeper will work in a busy fast paced environment, 16 hours per week (office based) solely responsible for Sales Ledger, creating invoices, reconciling credit card statements with receipts, Credit Control and maintaining age debtors and assisting with other finance tasks.
Tasks of the Purchase Ledger Bookkeeper include:
* Credit Control - this must be carried out consistently to ensure good cash flow for the company
* Opening post
* Sales ledger (Sage 50 & BigChange): invoicing as required (sim costs & install projects), credit control, monthly client statements
* Allocation of petty cash / expenses to engineers in morning first thing.
* Answering phone to potential clients, engineers, contractors
* Answering emails
* Daily banking: inputting information onto system and cheque books
* Inputting timesheet information for contractors and engineers onto payroll system
* Petty Cash - maintaining and balancing, responsible for issuing to engineers
* Pension and Private healthcare administration
* Filing
* Covering FT Bookkeeper when on sick/holiday
What do you need?
1. Competent with Microsoft word, excel and Sage Line 50 software (or similar)
