Business Manager at The Search: Finding forward-thinking People Leaders
Job Title: People Director

Location: Leeds, UK – Hybrid with 3 days per week in office
Who Are They?
* PE-Backed scaling Tech business based in Leeds
* 250 FTEs currently, with plans to scale to 350/400 in 2025 and continue growing from there, including European expansion
* Newly appointed leadership including a CEO who is culture-focused and wants to build an amazing place to work
* Original founder still involved in the day to day running of the business
The role:
* People Director reporting into the CEO, part of the Exec team
* Leading a team of 5 with plans to grow but maintaining a lean and impactful team with empowered and upskilled managers taking the lead on performance
* Highly impactful & strategic role, crucial for setting the business up for scale
* Highly diverse workforce, mission-driven, the business attracts great talent but there is a need for strategic retention, development and succession planning

* Thought partner to the leadership with ability to influence and navigate the business needs whilst translating these to People Agenda
* Strong leadership coach with ability to upskill and empower management
* Private Equity & Tech background is highly advantageous, keen interest in self-development, AI and best practice in technology scale ups is a must
* Experience scaling businesses at pace (from early hundreds up to 1k mark in headcount) essential
