Job Title: Therapy Assistant Banding: 4 Location: London, Greater London Working Hours: 37.5 hours We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Therapy Assistant to join our NHS team in London, Greater London. This role is essential in supporting the delivery of high-quality therapeutic care to patients. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to enhance patient well-being and recovery. What will your responsibilities be: The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary AADS team and collaborate with our acute colleagues and other key stakeholders to identify, assess, and coordinate seamless and safe discharge from hospital for residents. The post holder will provide generic skilled support to assist the AADS team and will be expected to undertake a number of duties without direct supervision, though will be required to report back to a qualified therapist. These responsibilities include initial patient assessments within set parameters and the implementation of rehabilitation programmes to facilitate clients reaching their optimum level of independence and social integration. Qualifications and Experiences: Previous experience as a Therapy Assistant or in a similar role Knowledge of elderly care and rehabilitation practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Why work with Pulse?
