TP Tutors work with Local Authorities and local Schools to provide 1:1 tuition for young people who are not accessing mainstream education. We are recruiting for Fully Qualified Teachers, HLTA, SEN and SEMH specialists, for GCSE Intervention Tutor roles in Jaywick and surrounding areas.
Our roles include:
* Planning your own tuition sessions in English and Maths, following the UK curriculum.
* Creating stimulating resources tailored towards individual learners’ abilities, needs and interests.
* Delivering sessions on a 1:1 or group basis, in learners’ homes, care homes or local libraries.
* Generating Ed Place Assessments to gauge learners’ current levels and identify gaps in their understanding.
* Using our reporting platform (LEAP) to record sessions, monitor progress and attendance.
* Reporting any safeguarding concerns to your Teaching Personnel consultant.
We require:
* At least 2 years’ experience teaching the UK curriculum.
* Ability to plan sessions and create resources independently.
* Experience working with young people with SEN or SEMH needs.
* Ability to build rapport with young people to create a safe learning environment and a holistic approach to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
