Our Concrete division manufactures high quality, precast concrete products for the residential housing and hard landscaping markets and has a small but valuable position in infrastructure markets. We currently have a vacancy for a Goods In & Dispatch Co-ordinator based at our Dewsbury site in West Yorkshire, WF12 9EG. You will ensure that all outgoing deliveries are made on time and as efficiently as possible, maintaining delivery schedules and tracking deliveries. This is a fast paced role, with an element of customer facing, so the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently is key. Objectives Optimise transportation of Ibstock products by planning and scheduling deliveries within agreed service levels and in the most efficient way possible. Lead the quarterly stock take of finished goods. Provide information on delivery scheduling to customers and internal customer service teams. Ensuring that load scheduling software is accurate and up to date. Involves printing and organising loading team daily schedules, booking in drivers and providing drawings where necessary. Proactively supporting and enhancing the one-team mentality approach with the Customer Service team, other commercial support functions & production. Manage goods-in receipting Support other operational leader’s onsite with other day to day duties as required. Essential Excellent communication and organisational skills. Previous knowledge of working as a goods in and out co-ordinator / administrator. Strong time management. Continuous improvement mind-set Excellent listening and questioning abilities. A professional and proactive attitude with strong problem solving skills. Positive and approachable manner. Resilient and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Working Knowledge of Windows based IT Systems Proven Transport and customer service experience Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively. Desirable Logistics / production / customer service experience. Exposure to / knowledge of the building industry.
