Hours: Casual. Potential for Cover 8:40am to 3:40pm. Mon to Fri
Salary: Grade 9 SCP 19 to 25. Actual £16.10ph to £18.26ph. £31,067 to £35,235 FTE

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced higher level teaching assistant to join our support staff on a casual / supply basis at Lytchett Matravers Primary School, part of Hamwic Education Trust (HET).
Our school wishes to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and outstanding Higher Level Teaching Assistant to cover classes on a casual basis, supervise activities of pupils in the classroom and during break times. The overall duties would be dependent on the dynamic need of the school.
Lytchett Matravers Primary School is a Rights Respecting School, located in a rural village location and has been at the heart of the community for many years. We traditionally have a low staff turnover and this role is a rare opportunity to join our friendly team of hard-working individuals. We are seeking a professional individual who:
* holds a recognised HLTA qualification or teaching qualification
* is able to adapt to suit the needs of the children and be able to inspire and engage them
* is able to support individuals, small groups and whole classes in their learning and use their initiative to personalise and adapt where necessary
* is willing to undertake additional training to meet the needs of the children
* is reflective and committed to professional development
* is enthusiastic about the education of children, across every area of the curriculum
* can build and maintain professional and positive working relationships
* has previous experience of working with children in a learning environment
