Associate Quality Inspector

Amber Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Quality Inspector to join our small, dynamic team. At Amber, we are committed to transforming patient care through state-of-the-art medical technology, specializing in active implantable devices for neuromodulation. This role will initially be based onsite at our Welwyn Garden City site, transitioning to our new custom-built facility in Harwell, Oxfordshire, in mid-2025. This is a full-time permanent position; however, we would consider a 9-month fixed-term contract at Welwyn Garden City.
The Role
An exciting new role to support the Quality team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality assurance and compliance of products, materials, processes and documentation relating to medical device manufacture, goods in inspection, in process inspection and final product testing.
Key Responsibilities
• Conducting Quality Control testing and inspection of product and raw materials
• Review results to identify and address any defects or deviations
• Document inspection records and update Quality Control work instructions as necessary
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve and rectify quality issues
• Support investigation, analysis and closure of relevant NCRs and corrective actions Proactively identifying, documenting and communicating quality concerns arising from quality control activities.
Skills & Qualifications
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and manufacturing processes is required
• Experience in Quality Control function such as inspection and measurement
• Experience in regulated environment (e.g. ISO90001 & ISO13485) is essential
• Experience of electro-mechanical assemblies is beneficial
