Main duties of the job
The Bedfordshire and Luton Wheelchair Service assesses and provides suitable wheelchairs and associated seating for clients of all ages with long-term conditions which impair their ability to walk.
Our dynamic team is looking for an assistant practitioner to work hours per week to provide technical and clinical support for the Wheelchair Service. The applicant should have experience in caring for people with complex disabilities, some experience working within a wheelchair or equipment service would be desirable.

Job responsibilities
This is an exciting role that offers clinical client contact and technical skills. The team covers the whole of Bedfordshire and Luton and use of a car is essential.
1. The key duties of the post holder will include fitting of equipment, stock management, maintenance and repair of wheelchairs and postural seating, contact with clients, other professionals and general public, ordering equipment, data input and other administrative tasks as required.
