Role summary:
Results Analysis is a global team with locations in London, Los Angeles, Irvine, Singapore, and Tokyo.
You will be focused on engaging with our business partners to deliver timely and accurate results measurement and analysis for Capital Group’s mutual funds and institutional accounts. You will be responsible for calculating and analyzing portfolio results, attributions, and analytics, drawing conclusions and providing recommendations based on the analysis, to support client and prospect requests, and internal stakeholders including Sales, Client Servicing, Investment Product Specialists and Publishing. You will also work with our stakeholders to conduct analysis to draw insights and develop exhibits that effectively support the marketing messages for CG products. Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert for one or more internal/external industry applications, as well as playing a critical role in enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic objectives.
Requirements:
1. 5+ years of experience with portfolio analysis and attribution.
2. Strong understanding and experience with calculating, validating, and interpreting portfolio investment results, attribution analysis, benchmark analysis and transaction/holdings-based analysis.
3. Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g. functions, charting, and pivot tables) to draw insights and develop compelling exhibits that effectively support the marketing messages for CG products.
4. Solid experience with FactSet Portfolio Analysis (PA3). Other results-related systems including B-One/Bloomberg/Rimes/Morningstar Direct/eVestment is an advantage.
5. Thrive in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking, strong analytical, problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity are essential for success.
6. Client focused with excellent stakeholder management skills and enjoying working with a wide range of business groups.
7. A keen focus on developing best practices, improving efficiency, enhancing capabilities, and mitigating risks.
8. Experience in a wide range of projects including enterprise-wide initiatives, performance/attribution system enhancement, client onboarding and product launch.
Preferred but not essential:
1. Good working knowledge of analyzing data via SQL or data visualization tools including Power BI.
2. Demonstrate experience and skills in leading projects and resolving cross-group business issues.
3. Experience in Multi-asset or Fund of Funds products.
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
