Job Overview
The UHD radiology department is seeking a full-time Radiology IT Systems Administrator to provide continuity of radiology specific IT services. They will be based within the radiology department at Poole hospital and will work alongside the radiology IT systems team, clinical staff (including radiographers, sonographers, doctors, and nurses), and other professionals within the Trust.

Duties
It is essential that the candidate has both knowledge and experience of working with IT systems. This will be the foundation for their extensive in-house training which will ultimately equip them to undertake the following duties:
* To be a point of contact for a variety of pre-defined problematic situations, and to exercise the necessary skills to resolve those situations autonomously.
* To ensure escalation procedures are adhered to whenever problems remain unresolved.
* To control the electronic transfer of radiology examinations in and out of the Trust.
* To create and control the user accounts for various IT systems.

* Experience of working in a busy office environment
* Experience of working in a customer focused team
* Experience and knowledge of using IT systems
Desirable criteria
* Experience of working with NHS IT systems
* Previous experience in an Imaging Department
Qualifications

* Education to GCSE level including passes in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent
* Relevant IT qualification (e.g. ECDL) or equivalent knowledge

* Evidence of IT systems related learning

* Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
* Able to work independently and manage own workload
